Describe exact flaws instead of relying on “good” or “excellent.”
Name paint loss, chips, belly splits, swelling, rust, bent hardware, loose eyes, replacement hooks, box tears, and label damage.
Separate factory aging from later alteration.
Crazing, fading, and hook rash may be expected. Paint covering screws or filling chips may suggest repaint or touch-up.
Do not hide uncertainty.
Phrases such as “possible touch-up near left eye” and “hooks appear later” are more credible than confident but unsupported claims.
